Senior Sales Executive

This role is a senior sales position reporting to the Vice President of Sales. You will be responsible for representing RFgen’s supply chain solutions and selling the value of our solutions to prospective new clients and existing customers. You will be responsible for hunting for new accounts and also working with existing clients to provide solutions their business challenges. This Senior Account Executive is the leader and quarterback that runs successful sales campaigns and closes deals independently while working closely with the RFgen solution engineering and delivery teams to properly leverage their expertise to win. You will work closely with the executive management team as leader in the business.

Responsibilities

  • First and foremost, you will be responsible for meeting your company assigned revenue goals.
  • Responsible for building a solid pipeline, managing escalations, identifying and proposing solutions and negotiating and closing complex deals to exceed your assigned company sales goals.
  • Responsible for new business opportunities in existing and new customer accounts within the assigned account territory or named accounts list to ensure exceeding assigned monthly/quarter/annual quota objectives.
  • Responsible for leverage existing and development new C-level relationships to present RFgen’s strategic messaging and product delivery at these levels in the assigned territory.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing territory-wide business and sales action plans to achieve sales quota in assigned territory by: Building a solid opportunity pipeline; Proactively and effectively utilizing partner relationships; Formulating and executing major account strategies; Efficiently qualifying prospects and following a disciplined solution selling approach; Establishing accurate and timely sales forecasts in the company CRM system (Saleforce.com)
  • Responsible for making efficient use of and investments of RFgen sales support and marketing resources.
  • Responsible for speaking engagements as requested by RFgen to represent the company at trade shows, user conferences and other key events.
  • Responsible for establishing trusted adviser relationships with RFgen clients and prospective clients.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of technology sales success at the senior level.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales quotas with similar earnings history.
  • Experience in the supply chain solution space.
  • Experience with solution / value-based selling.
  • Positive, team leading attitude.
  • Ability to analyze customer’s challenges and determine where the ROI is most effective.
  • Ability to become a trusted advisor to customers business challenges to generate future selling opportunities into the account.
  • Ability to quickly qualify what opportunities are the right fit.
  • Ability to leverage existing C-level relationships and operate in a highly competitive environment.
  • Must have the ability to successfully negotiate complex deals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent ability to establish rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • Willingness to travel as needed, up to 50% of the time.
  • Must possess a high level of energy with a positive attitude, and the ability to see the future and grow within the organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business or Computer Science, plus 5 years of B2B direct outside sales experience at the senior level and proven track record of success.
