  • On-line, real-time solutions – this operational mode provides for immediate visibility of all activities within the supply chain with transaction updates handled in real-time as they occur, or optionally passed to RFgen’s Transaction Management system for background processing.
  • Off-line, mobile solutions – operations of this type occur when data is stored on the device for prompting / validation purposes and transactions are queued up for later, background processing using RFgen’s Transaction Management system.
  • On-demand, mobile solutions – hybrid applications of this type, also called on-demand solutions, typically operate in a non-connected mode using data stored on the device to validate information as its entered. Data on the device is then exchanged and synchronized with your enterprise system(s) in an on-demand basis, using wireless, cellular or other communication technologies.
