Managed Web Services Integration

RFgen's Web Services technology is used to facilitate the exchange of enterprise data by multiple, cross-platform applications. Using open protocols and interfaces, this technology removes much of the complexity associated with the exchange of data between applications that are running on different devices and using different operating systems. Connecting through a pre-defined web service, RFgen applications can issue data requests which encapsulate security, authentication, failure conditions, networking details, and more in a self-contained manner.
The RFgen Mobile Framework contains technology that makes it easy for mobile and wireless application developers to discover and exchange data with any number of web services. Using our built-in, embedded business objects, developers will find that RFgen greatly facilitates integration of mobile and wireless devices with business applications running on the enterprise intranet and business partners' extranets. Not only does RFgen reduce the challenges faced when developing applications that interact with specific core-business applications, it also simplifies the process of combining data from diverse sources to create greater business intelligence.

Standards Compliance

RFgen's Web Services technology implementation employs a n-tiered framework that is based on open specifications from the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and the Liberty Alliance Project. These specifications allow for the creation of solutions that are interoperable with the majority of web service implementations found in today's computing environments.
