Mobile Administration Console

Do you know where your users are? Do you want to see what they are doing right now? With RFgen’s Mobile Administration Console you can not only see what is being presented on their screen, but you can interact with it as if you were holding the device in your own hands!
Imagine receiving a call from home that there is a problem and being able to VPN in to the company network, Remote Desktop to the RFgen server, open the Mobile Administration Console and literally control the whole system or any mobile devices without ever setting foot out of your house.
RFgen provides the administrator a wide range of options to ensure the smooth operation of the data collection environment. In the main window there is a view of all connected devices, who is logged in, what menu or application they are looking at, how long they have been online and how long they have been at rest.

RFgen provides other useful and powerful features for the administrator in the way RFgen can control the user’s experience.
Along with showing and hiding a copy of the user session, the administrator can send a "popup" message to the individual or to every device currently connected. At the same time, the ability to suspend a user means that data collection is halted for that device until the administrator releases it. The suspension option is also available for use against every connected device. Finally, the option of terminating the connection altogether is available both for a specific user and for all connected users. These tools are typically used to warn all users that the system will be going down for some timeframe and then terminates the sessions of the users at that time.
Besides just managing the users, the administrator may keep track of the data connections as well. If users are sharing connections to the data sources or if they each have their own, all connections are monitored and displayed under the Connections tab.
This view allows the administrator to see the traffic being sent to the data source and view the statistics on the activity. Again, if backend host systems are suspected of responding slowly, this view will isolate the performance issue immediately.
